A new round of over 100 million for the project of Sam Altman, just the latest of the philanthropists by interest.

In addition to the well-known Bitcoin, there are currently about 25,000 cryptocurrencies in the world: newborn, half-dying, shipwrecked, renewed projects; altcoins, stablecoins, shitcoins: the immaterial bank has a token for every financial perversion. It seems strange that in this plethora of virtual currencies, no one has ever thought of coining perhaps the most trivial name, the eighth-grade term one: “Worldcoin”. To none, before Sam Altman, who built his story on solid, banal and revolutionary ideas. Guru of Y Combinator, the most exclusive accelerator in the most exclusive startup area on the planet, Silicon Valley, Altman is a child prodigy who didn’t stop at his first success, but achieved worldwide fame with his widely known OpenAI public for the release of artificial intelligence software such as Dall-E and, above all, ChatGPT.
And that he now intends to repeat with Worldcoin, in fact.
